We all make ‘em and we all break ‘em—eat better, exercise more, spend more time with friends and family and the list goes on. They are those new year’s resolutions we jot down and vow to stick to them for the whole year. But the truth is, by around March that list we wrote down is nowhere to be found. You’re not alone.
But there’s some hope to making it past that March meltdown. So, after a lot of Googling we found some good tips to help keep those vows. Crack open a Nitro Cold Brew coffee or latte and see below to help make those 2021 resolutions stick.
LIMIT YOUR RESOLUTIONS
We tend to make the list long. Focus on one or two. Preferably the most important ones. That one about getting your closet organized can probably wait.
PLAN IT
Put a plan in place. Saying “I’m going to eat healthier” is one thing. Having a strategy for eating healthier is where it all comes together. RISE Organic Oat Milk instead of dairy milk? Just a thought.
BABY STEPS
Taking on too much is one of the main reasons we abandon our resolutions. You don’t have to make sweeping changes once the calendar switches to a new year. You can do it a little at a time.
REMEMBER CHANGE IS A PROCESS
Let’s say you’re hooked on chocolate chip cookies. And let’s be honest, who’s isn’t? Instead of going cold turkey, make it a gradual reduction. Go for that ooey gooey cookie once in a while.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY
Share your goals with the people around you. They’ll be the first ones to remind you of your resolutions. Especially your Mom.
Hope this helps. Keep Rising, RISE Nation. You can do this.
