Tell us a bit about you -- your story, how you are “On The RISE”
My name is Bryce Bozovich. I am 20 years old, living out of my van with my girlfriend Victoria. Around four years ago, I found a deep passion for rock climbing. Ever since then, I have done everything in my power to fully immerse myself in the sport. Rock climbing has taught me so many life lessons: how to enjoy failure, how to handle stressful situations and how to take care of my body. The most valuable lesson I've learned so far is the importance of having my mentality geared towards improvement. I’ve learned that no matter what the odds are, no matter the magnitude of the challenge, if you keep pushing forward you will see victory.
Tell us about some of your challenges.
We are all faced with the inevitable challenges of this pandemic. One of the challenges I faced was staying in shape and being able to train, so we went to work building a home climbing wall. After a weekend of trip after trip to the hardware store and many cups of coffee, we completed our quarantine climbing gym. Luckily, our wall allowed us to stay in shape, and gave us tons of opportunity to continue to progress and improve while in lockdown.
Tell us a bit about how you know RISE, how you integrate RISE into your life, what you’d recommend to friends about it!
I love Coffee. Coffee has become a very important part of my daily routine. I never thought I'd enjoy drinking coffee more than cracking a can of RISE Mocha Oat Milk Latte before I tie it into my harness and begin climbing. Bringing coffee to the crag used to be such a hassle, but a can of RISE makes it easy for me. Some quick caffeine is usually exactly what I need before trying my project; I mean it quite literally when I say RISE really does help me RISE up.
