We love coffee – the way it energizes us, makes us happy and fuels our minds for the day ahead. Tired of the status quo and a basic cup of joe, we began the search for something more. We started cold brewing in our New York City apartments on a mission to make the best coffee with the healthiest ingredients we can source.

After sampling hundreds of beans and roasts, we created a cold brew coffee our friends and family loved. We then and now use organic, fair trade coffee grown at high-altitude in Peru's Chanchamayo valley, giving our cold brew its naturally sweet, bold and chocolatey taste. And, we didn't stop there...

We started experimenting with the benefits of conditioning our cold brew with nitrogen. We were blown away by how well it worked. The nitrogen infusion perfectly complimented our cold brew by giving it a beautiful cascade, creamy head and refreshingly smooth finish.

And, that's when RISE was born. Our first and current nitro cold brew coffee – now known as the “Original Black” – was a total game changer. We had to share it.

As soon as we started serving it on tap, people from all over started asking us for it –
to keep up with demand we moved our operation from our apartments to a garage until we made it to the brewery that we now innovate and brew out of today.

We love what we do and are grateful for all the support we've received from friends, family and all of our fans who've given us a shot.
