Field Marketing & Events Coordinator/Manager - NY, CT

This an entrepreneurial role in a fast-paced, fast-growing F&B startup. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter and strong collaborator with great organizational and communication skills. This position calls for a digitally-savvy individual who can work independently and is hungry to grow our trending brand and its community. The ideal candidate will secure & develop national marketing opportunities to build image and brand awareness, focused on in person event activations and the RISE Brewing Co. digital & social media presence. This is a great position for a person who is flexible, versatile, detail-oriented, and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Job Description

Events:

• Establish a clear and compelling strategy for events, and develop processes and benchmarks for measuring success, and creating authentic and memorable brand impressions
• Manage planning, including: operations plans, permitting, and vendor/contract negotiations
• Plan, execute, and attend East Coast events, often requiring night and weekend work (with Brand Ambassador and team staff, as needed)
• Plan, execute, and staff West Coast, Florida, and other events (with Brand Ambassador and team staff -- potentially travel & attend as needed)
• Evaluate future event opportunities and vet larger scale events + partnerships
Manage to a tight budget & keep a goal of a high penetration of in-kind only events
• Manage requests for in-kind and charitable donations
Provide weekly/monthly activity reports recapping events executed and upcoming programs
• Hire and train Brand Ambassador staff, and must have ability to manage remove staff effectively

Branding:


• Project manage design pipeline (including taking requests & soliciting feedback from the team) for all collateral and swag, including: Booth Display, POS, Demo Kits, Swag, Sales Collateral, etc.
• Develop, iterate on, and enforce Brand Guidelines across internal and external partners
• Develop a consistent pipeline for photo and art content (especially photography needs for Social)

(Potentially includes) Social Media:

• Oversee development of content and social media publication, and editorial calendar
• Create and post social media content that is on brand and creates a strong community, including on: Instagram (posts + stories), Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google Business, and LinkedIn
• Track, monitor, respond, and engage in social networking communications
Develop techniques to encourage customer engagement and reviews
Identify influencers and key partners to help elevate consumer’s awareness of the RISE brand
• Plan giveaways with brands, takeovers with influencers, and feature key clients on our feeds

Traits/Skills

• Preferred: 3-5+ years experience in events and promotional work in the CPG industry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, extremely organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a timely manner, with minimal supervision
• Strong business acumen, relationship management skills, customer focus, and drive for results

Brand Ambassador - CT, NY, WA, OR

RISE Brewing Co is looking for an energetic team member to help staff events and product demos. We are a nitro cold-brew coffee startup with award winning organic, non-GMO and kosher products. Think Guinness meets iced coffee, with a frothy head, no dairy and no additives. An infusion of nitrogen gives RISE its distinctive creamy cascade.

We distribute nitro cold brew coffee cans and kegs to grocery stores, offices, bars/restaurants and cafes throughout Oregon, Washington, Northern California, and the East Coast, and are always expanding. We are looking for brand ambassadors to not only serve coffee, but to convey our story to visitors to gain wholesale accounts and form new business partnerships.

Events/In-Store Demos: 1-4 per week (est. 5-25 hours weekly). Weekend availability is highly valued!

What you’ll do:

Serve delicious nitro cold brew coffee to our customers (It’s served like a beer from a tap, couldn’t be easier! We will also show you how to tap a keg & anything else necessary to run the shop, events or demos). Tell our brand story and educate customers about office delivery options or in store shoppers about our canned offerings. Have an upbeat attitude – customer service is key. You will host many demos and some events alone, so independent problem-solving skills and a high degree of integrity are critical. Brand Development Representative - NY, WA

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a high energy team member to be responsible for growing the company portfolio and engaging consumers through point of sale (POS), shelf assortment, and creative displays at retail accounts. In addition, a Brand Development Representative identifies new sales and sampling opportunities at retailers while building and maintaining relationships with accounts. A BDR also helps staff local events and product demos. A Brand Development representative is a hybrid role of Sales and Marketing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
What you'll do in Sales:
• Work off of a target list of new and existing accounts to gain and achieve our sales, merchandising and distribution goals.
• Visit assigned retail accounts to sell volume, increase distribution, build displays, monitor price, and shelf space management.
• Increase shelf space and position for RISE products.
• Utilize your ability to set up demos/tastings to gain distribution and build lasting relationships at retail.
• Cold calling offices in the area to set up office samplings.
• Represent RISE through promotions and company events. You’re on the front lines and represent our brand in the market, make us proud!
• Work with distributor reps and do ride alongs.

What you'll do in Marketing:
• Participate in new product launch events including demos/tastings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years field sales / Brand Ambassador experience in the beverage industry preferred but not required
• Strong business acumen, relationship management skills, customer focus, and drive for results.
• The ability to drive to and from accounts regularly (applicable for all cities except NYC, where public transit is sufficient).
• The ability to lift and move cases and Kegs of RISE up to 50lbs.
• Spanish proficiency is a plus

Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Manager - NY, CT

The ideal candidate will secure & develop national digital marketing opportunities to grow revenue and brand awareness, focused on driving online traffic and sales.


Job Description


Digital Marketing:

• Build, iterate, and execute on email strategy, including targeted email drip campaigns that segment customers and send timely, relevant info
• Develop acquisition plan for e-marketing targets (newsletter subscribers, FB fans, site visits, etc.)
• Manage Amazon presence, including: placing effective ads, updating listings, customer service
• Manage digital marketing & ad opportunities with 3rd parties, ie: Jet, Walmart, Boxed, etc.
• Manage internal blog calendar, website, and other content with an attention to SEO orientation -- ability to write effective and on-brand copy is a plus
• Build & implement a strategy for SEO, including coordinating with Blog, PR, etc
• Identify and implement other ad strategies: retargeting, etc
• Measure, analyze and report monthly on the effectiveness of e-marketing activities
• Collaborate on website design and development as needed
• Manage general marketing projects beyond digital as necessary
• Build and manage to top-level marketing budgets and budgets to support specific campaigns

• Advanced Excel skills and ability to synthesize data and present actionable insights. Advanced includes PivotTables, Index Match functions, and other tools to present and organize large data sets.
• Skilled negotiator and strategic thinker with the ability to vet and leverage marketing opportunities
