There are several things that make for a great party for The Big Football game. Here they are in no particular order.
  • Friends and family (masked, of course)
  • Critiquing the million-dollar commercials
  • The football pool (winning money on a missed field goal is so satisfying)
  • The halftime show (wardrobe malfunctions are always a possibility)
  • The food
Let’s focus on the food versus wardrobe malfunctions for a bit. Sure, there’s the big main course which usually means the host in a “kiss the cook” apron proudly lording over a grill the size of a minivan cranking out plate after plate of big game decadence (vegetarian and otherwise).
But let’s not forget the staples of any Super Bowl party—the dips. They’re always there and ready to dig into all day long. It’s easy to lean on the traditional.  Seven-layer, French onion, Queso, and so on.
How about something different? Something Vegan? 
Vegan Ranch Dressing 
  • 1 1/2 cup of RISE Original Oat Milk
  • 1 cup Hemp Seeds
  • 2 tsp Fresh Dill
  • 2 tsp Fresh Minced Garlic
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Fresh Chives
  • 2 tsp Fresh Parsley
  • Fresh Lemon Juice from one lemon
  • Dash of salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Add ingredients into a blender and blend well to combine. Pour ranch dressing into a container and refrigerate until ready to use.
Vegan Spinach & Artichoke Dip 
  • 1 cup Raw Cashews, soaked 24 hours
  • 1 cup of RISE Original Oat Milk
  • 1/3 cup Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 8oz Bag Frozen Spinach (thawed) or Fresh Spinach
  • 1 can of Artichoke Hearts
  • Fresh Lemon Juice from one lemon
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Add everything but the artichoke hearts and spinach into a blender and blend until creamy. Add the thawed spinach and chopped artichoke hearts to a large bowl & mix together & pour the sauce into the bowl. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Serve with your favorite bread or crackers.
